Massage in Portimão, in practice
This is a real town, with its residential blocks and a heavily built seafront on the Praia da Rocha side. Sessions are easy to arrange here: the flats are spacious and most have a lift. The journey from Albufeira, on the other hand, takes close to an hour, which is what the condition on length or number of people is for. Ferragudo, Carvoeiro and Lagoa are at the same rate.

- Do you come to Praia da Rocha?
- Yes, it is the part of Portimão I am called to most, in flats and hotels alike. Give me the name of the building: the seafront has a great many blocks that look alike.
- Why 90 minutes or two people as a minimum?
- The journey from Albufeira is close to an hour each way. The condition lets me come without charging a travel fee out of all proportion. Two 60-minute Rituals back to back meet it just as well as a single 90-minute one.
- Should I book further ahead for Portimão?
- Yes, allow three days rather than two. The journey takes up a good part of the day, so I cannot fit it between two nearby appointments.
